  Hey hey there fellow Yelpers boy do I got gem in the rough for yah.
  
  The Jerk Shack is an out door patio style place but they keep the fans going to combat that Texas Heat. It's slightly off the main road so if your following google maps trust in Google it will get you there.
  
  Now lets get to the good stuff. They are order at the window style place and they brought our food out but also can see them calling out numbers to pick up the window. (Now I've been scared in my 20's from someplace out in another country halfway across the world we're I probably had no business trying Jamaican food). But The Jerk Shack completely blew my expectations out of the water.
  
  I went with the Mac and Jerk (or the Jerk and Mac) either way you get it. You won't be disappointed 1st off the fired chicken had amazing flavor, juicy (super juicy) and a little more than a hint of heat (don't let that scare you I'm not a nuclear hot type of guy so it really is just a good balance of heat) but man it's a must try. But it gets better the Mac and cheese was easily one of the best dishes of Mac I've had EVER!!!! I didn't get the blend they use for the Mac but you will not be disappointed.
  
  Their Spicy Beef Patties are killer, think Mexican beef burrito expect flat like and empanada but with a little more heat to it.
  
  They also sell food by the half pound Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork won't let you down.
  
  This joint is a must visit !!!

  My friend picked up a plate for me last week for lunch.  Jerk Chicken wings and PINEAPPLE waffle!
  
  Did I say, Pineapple  Waffle!???
  
  AMAZING AGAIN!  Took me two days to eat it all!
  
  Yes, I will eat here again and AGAIN!

  The jerk chicken banged good, man! Really enjoyed. Oxtails not so much. Not enough meat for the $18 price and I wasn't too keen on the seasonings. Chicken curry had good flavor, BUT I'm not a fan of chicken breast curry in chunks. Rather leg and thigh. Coco bread wasn't anything like I'm used to. More heavy then I've had before. Beef patties were just fine.
  
  Be prepared to wait a bit. They said 20 min but more like 30-35 but I wasn't starving and there was shade so was fine with me.
  
  Will def come back for the jerk once a month to get our Jamaican food fix. Cabbage and pease and rice were nice.

  I loved it! The wings came out hot and fresh! The macaroni and cheese was pretty standard, but oh man, the jerk chicken was amazing! It's definitely different, but I loved it! It's a little spicy so be careful! Even the potato salad has a little kick to it. Overall, it's a great spot! Order takeout and skip the wait!

  Listen up Jerky. The Jerk Shack has some great island flavors.
  I only wanted a quick lunch but ran into some co-workers and joined them.
  I ordered a "pattie" aka Jamaican empanada, and a grilled chicken taco with ginger beer to quaff it down.
  The pattie had some heat, I would suspect courtesy of scotch bonnet peppers... I love sb and habanero. These are darn tasty.
  The taco was good, but the pattie stole the show for me, wish I had ordered 3.
  Ginger beer (non-alcoholic) was very tasty too.
  Saw my co-workers orders and will be back to try more. Bringing my to go ware.
  It can take a while for food, but very worth the wait.
